Not really. Speaking realistically, things you can touch and feel are the least real. They are literally just nerve sensations from things that could be totally different to what you perceive them to be. He's basically attempting ye olde skepticism of Being in favor of Becoming, which has been shown time and time again to be ridiculous. Being skeptical of any given philosophy is fine, but that's not really what he was saying.
