Thoughts? I think he writes some good and some bad stuff. His book on Yugoslavia is very bad for example. Recently just finished his article about Tibet though and he presented just the facts, didn’t seem like an ideologue making stuff up.

Very good orator who has a sound and honest ideology. His books aren't much different from his speeches however and just seem to be longer versions of his rants against american imperialism capitalism etc. Is a gospel for communists who are especially fed up with social democratic reformists who make up the majority of the left today.
