Philosophy has always and will always be for incel nerd virgins. Nietzche and shopenhauer were low t faggots.
You really think Genghis Khan or Alexander the Great or Tamerlane or Attila the Hun gave a shit about philosophy or ideas? They fought, lusted and killed which is what man is supposed to do
The whole concept of thinking in itself is womanly. Men are supposed to be driven wholly by instinct and passion

None of the heroes of old "thought" or meditated on reality or cared about philosophy and free will. They fucked, they fought, they killed and they died. Thats what life is supposed to be.

Plato and many Greeks believe poetry and Writingia for faggots and Something women do, high T males don’t need to write because they simply live the right way. Their writings are few and far between so when they do put stuff down in paper it’s usually hundreds of years apart. And it always destroys whatever is happening in any culture or philosophy instantly.

It's sadly more complicated than that and this is something I dislike in the book. Christianity allowed for higher degree of centralisation. You can move a little bit away from Scandinavia into Russia, and there, Vladimir first tried to reform the paganism of the slavs into something that was more centralised, we can suspect that the starting point was a myriad of small family cults a'la The Ancient City with few major deities that weren't of particular importance in everyday life. So Vladimir has built a temple for public worship, with the chief deities as sculptures in there. However it seems this was not catching up and he couldn't get control over the religious side of the society and just decided that it's time for baptism. Since especially early on the church must have heavily depended on the ruler, he had some extent of control over it, as opposed to the old family and local cults. This greater degree of political centralisation allowed the subsequent rulers to entrench themselves in power and build stronger states, more capable of dealing with international threats. You can see the parallel at the end of the crisis of the 3rd century, where many subsequent emperors tried to promote henotheistic cult of Sol Invictus until Constantine just gave up on it and became Christian, achieving the same goal of centralisation of power, where the chief religious structure was heavily dependent on the emperor.

That being said, while organisationally Christianity was superior, the message of it can be interpreted, and these days is interpreted rather meekly. Sure earthly law is different than heavenly law, so the dogma that we are all equal in Jesus Christ doesn't necessarily imply egalitarianism, but it allows the presupposition, while it seems that most pagans in Europe had at least soft caste systems and believed in fundamental inequality between men, so by design you couldn't possibly argue for it as a pagan. There are parallel issues with other moral, you could say, aspects - recognition of right of conquest, moral particularism etc. Christianity is capable of integrating these into its theology, but it also can do the opposite.

So in many ways paganism appears to be far more fail-safe mechanisms, preventing it from sliding into pozz to put it this way, while Christianity doesn't, and of course for many hundreds of years Christianity was "based", thus it just used the structural advantage it had to help with formation of stronger states, which then gained competitive advantage in international politics, extending their influence. In other words, they continued speaking the language of might. It is however safe to say that the modern Christianity is at the very least straying away from that path if it's not gone from it for decades already.

>> No.18454259

>>18454238

Just a little addendum:
While I do feel empathetic for pagan restorationism, I think the religions are basically lost and the chain of traditions broken, so sadly just saying "let's be pagan again" won't solve these issues, I'm afraid.

Yes, in Phaedo I believe

- Near his death he reveals that he started to write more, poetry and other stories because of the voices he was hearing or entities he was encountering in his dreams.

Plato, in his own opinion may have still held onto the belief that poetry was feminine, but ultimately as we can see his voices/instincts dominate.

Thrasymachus didn't fuck up, Socrates has to agree to disagree because he can't show Thrasymachus as wrong. The fact that he couldn't do this made him so assblasted that he created the entire allegory of The Republic only to still not be able to show Thrasymachus as wrong.

Thrasymachus was destroyed at every point in the argument. Socrates never agreed to disagree on anything, that was Thrasymachus when he blushed and couldn't continue to defend his argument.

A shepherd is only a good shepherd insofar as he takes good care of his flock, no? A ruler is only a good ruler insofar as he rules well? Likewise, if a ruler is just (ie, rules well), his strength will become greater due to the heightened unity of a loyal and strong state. A ruler who does not rule well and seeks exclusively his own personal advantage is weakened due to the resultant division and discontent among his subjects. Might makes right defeats itself, Plato's conclusion here is that, instead, right (although in more than the naive sense) makes might. If you BAP retards just acknowledged this, you could use Plato to come to much superior conclusions, which don't involve giving in to the modern bastardizations of justice under the titles of liberalism, socialism, etc.
