Well, that's why I learned English in the first place.
Russian language is unsuited for a lot of things.
Our official church-approved translation of the Bible is just immensely sad.
I read very little in my native tongue.

Comparing the Russian Synodal Bible to Vulgata Clementina and Nova Vulgata, it is almost identical. Also, it has unique and very strong religious aesthetics due to the specifics of old Russian grammar. I just consider it is great.
