And before you start sledging about how authoritarian socialist states are you are just as submitted to the state's authority as you are in democracy, the only difference is the scope, and that's because as stated you can't be both free and equal and to prioritize one aspect means to make the other worse
Arguably under a libertarian state you are more likely to submit to other individuals depending on economic power, which socialism at least in theory tries to prevent
