I think there's stuff among what you've written that I can concede to its being real and really shitty, but I disagree that it's either guaranteed or requires a radicalized ideology to correct for.

From my own experiences, I can say that 90% of people are imbeciles — this is what underwrites society and its problems, which is my main issue with /pol/. Clutching onto idealized theories doesn't guarantee a yield of ideal results. If someone weren't a nutty liberal, they'd be a nutty conservative. Centrism isn't a solution, but neither is hunkering down in one camp and continually alienating the other.
The solution that I've found — how I find things to look forward to — is just making good choices. It sounds reductive and forehead-slappingly simple, but it's worked for me since I left /pol/.
I've found there's a significant amount of interesting/high-quality culture out there still being produced, nowhere near all of it being propaganda. Find some publishing houses or movie distributors slightly off the beaten path and you'll find wonders. Same with your comments on entertainment, as well as friends and institutions; if you keep in mind the 90%-imbecilic rule and just be cautious and have decently high standards, you can find reliable friends who you can go out to dinners with, or maybe go camping with. I haven't found any need for god or religion lately. When you achieve some degree of personal contentment, it starts to feel less necessary (for me, anyway).
I think that when I was younger and on /pol/ a lot, worrying about replacement and degeneracy or any of the rest, I was looking for meaning. I wasn't very happy at all, and I found a lot online — a lot on that particular board — that gave me something to feel angry about, self-righteous even. It provided some purpose.
Since leaving, my life has gotten progressively better. I have a job that I like, a job where I'm my own boss. I look forward to my career every day, and I'm excited to have kids, too.

"Standards" is kind of a spurious term, in this context. Providing examples is one thing — for books, I tend to keep my eye on Dalkey Archive (I've recently read and enjoyed Roger Boylan's "The Adorations," Basara's "The Mongolian Travel Guide," and Levé's "Autoportrait") as well as Riverhead Books (for translations like Tokarczuk's stuff, as well as Schweblin) and Grove Press (I found Dennis Cooper through them, and Will Self, too); with movies, A24 seems to be on a winning streak (loved all the archaic fishing vernacular in "The Lighthouse"), and while a cliche choice The Criterion Collection constantly leads me towards movies I'd never heard of but end up loving (they're releasing "Ratcatcher" pretty soon, which is incredibly beautiful, as well as a behind-the-scenes movie about the original cast recordings for "Company," which is one of the few musicals I could really get into, and I'm pretty curious as to what's so unique about its recording process that it could possibly warrant a high-def transfer) — but also I think the principal of seeking out art of quality — just working and sifting through to find things that you enjoy or find meaning in — is worth observing, even if you don't like any of the stuff that I've mentioned or enjoy. That was an interesting read. I tend to agree with her conclusion. American education in it's current form is intentionally designed to primarily teach people what to think and not how to think, to make knee-jerk conditioned value judgements. The effects of this are going to become more apparent as these individuals filter out into their societal positions. It will be a gradual degradation of American society at large as inefficiencies in systems grow and innovation diminishes.
