I wish that there was at least one example in all of history of Muslims and other religions getting along peacefully, but I literally can't find even one period where a Muslim majority or near-majority did not oppress others. Maybe the Ottomans and later the Turks got the closest, but even they mistreated the Christians at various points in their history. From their attacks in the modern-day West to the violent conquests of medieval India and the enslavement of many Africans, these dudes simply do not seem to want peace and prosperity with other communities. It makes no sense. They even mistreat their own; ISIS was absolutely brutal towards many Muslims within their territories. What's the point of all this?

The point was to destroy the Meccan Pagans. But the machine cannot be turned off like a light switch. It must be utterly destroyed. Somebodies father or mother who must have been taken after having children. Those children could have gone on to have children who by the nature of exponential math have descendants who represent close to the totality of the European population. Now of course this is just one ancestor of millions but it is highly likely that since people who already have children but not he children themselves were taken in at least some cases that these people could be someone's ancestor.

My favourite story of a white slave is Judar Pasha who lead the Moroccan conquest of the Songhai empire in West Africa. Morroco was unable to follow up the conquest though so the region largely descended into anarchy and the slave trading coastal states emerged, so in effect you could say that the Atlantic Slave Trade was in part brought about by a white slave destroying an African empire.

Islam is one of the most warlike religions in history. It was forged in conquest. And the entire point of it is to continue Muhammad's initial conquests until Islam expands over the whole globe and everyone is Muslim, only then will the infidels be saved.

This warlike nature does not put Islam beyond civilization, however. Indeed, abroad is often the fuel of civilization at home. During the Islamic golden age it was a beacon of culture, science and literature. But that was because it was sitting pretty upon its war spoils and all within Islam were subjugated to it.

Islam does permit non-muslims within its borders, but only as second-class citizens who have to pay a special tax.

It's pointless to grade evils. Yes, slavery in North America was barbarous for the several centuries it lasted. However, slavery in the Middle East provided an economic stimulus for war; the slaves' conditions may have been better (they often were not; it varied from place to place and time to time), but how many people were slaughtered to capture those slaves across a thousand years? And consider this: there are no descendants of the Arab slave trade, but the descendants of the North American slave trade flourish today (/pol/ may dispute this as a positive point of comparison, but whatever). So, no, Arab slavery wasn't ultra-enlightened compared to slavery elsewhere. Slavery is slavery, and no matter how it's practiced, it will produce evil and suffering.
