Think about this: In all of human history there have been only two major explosions of novel philosophy, in Greece 2500 years ago and in Germany during the late 17th-19th centuries. My theory is that it is simply a matter of pure chance that so many geniuses happen to born every once in a while all at once in the right place at the right time. But now that requirement has been completely done away with with the advent of the internet, geniuses from all over the world can influence each other in seconds. What’s more, there is no longer any barrier of entry. Not only do you have access to the last 2500 years of written word right from home, but you don’t even have to learn multiple languages thanks to the fact that even the lower class now generally learns English, and nearly everything of note has already been translated. Obviously the recent post war generations have been a failure and Gen Z will be totally paralyzed by internet addiction, but as we adapt and learn to use the internet as a tool we will start to produce and advance faster than ever before. I’m sure we will see at least some greats already even from Gen Z as the ones who manage to break away from internet addiction will universally have access to more opportunity than anyone in human history. Imagine how many great geniuses we never saw contributing to history because they were born to a low class and never learned Latin it Greek. All those people are now freed and are being unleashed upon the world.

I think that Gen Z will understand enough about especially experiencing how much damage it can do that they won't let their children rot their brains with it like millennials did. And even if they do, the people who are going to actually make real contribution will be smart enough to know to control it and I'd say a large percentage of the current generations already understand the negative effects and are trying to distance themselves from them.
