Not true, yes it can come easier to others just like any other hobby due to hsving an interest in it, but that doesnt mean that you are born with writing comprehension. You need to get alot of the shit out of your system before you are able to make something good, just like any other skill.

I think what Waldun lacks is actually putting in the hours of writing and studying to get better. If he wants to excel his current skill level he should listen to lectures on writing (creative and academic), weekly flash fiction and short story writing challenges, as well as reading an array of stories so that he has structures he can look to for help when working on his own as well as writing essays on the books he enjoyed the most so that he has a more understanding of what hes reading and their themes.

He hasnt done too many short stories to my knowledge, and just a handful of flashfiction. Going from that and then jumping into two full length books is the equivelent of painting a handful of postcards to then trying to render a 5 foot painting. Its just setting himself up for failure.

If Waldun really wants to get better at writing then he needs to actually do the hard work instead of just dressing like an old man drinking coffee in a cafe
