What's am I missing? It's so god damn unengaging and I'm having a real time finding the depth or point of it. I read half and I don't much expect it to get much better.

Demian sucked, though.

Siddhartha isn't his best novel, but is the most popular. It's still very enjoyable with good points.

if you dont have a basic grasp of jungian psychology a lot will slip by you. and it might be a novel that reads better depending where one is in life, but most people are mental infants when it comes to consciousness so i always recommend it to adults.
