Atheist bros aren't you scared of hell? Won't you feel bad when you are burning in hell and all of the christ cucks you made fun of are in heaven?

I'm not atheist, but with any luck I'll end up in that Circle of Hell meant for people who fell to lust (getting into Heaven ain't happening lmao). Spending an eternity being flung from one horny person's embrace to the next seems comfy

>> No.19605701

I find it funny that you assume it's going to be atheists who will be going to hell according to christianity

Not even Christians seriously believe in literal hellfire and admit that that image is only there to frighten the peasants. The more serious theological explanations I've seen is that hell is a state of separation from God. As an atheist, that sounds reasonable and fair.

According to the protestants definitely. I think even the Catholics have belief in Jesus as a requisite even with good works but I could be wrong

This. Thinking like this is why Atheism such a massive cope. Repent, abandon Materialism and Scientism. Turn to Christ.

Yes?
Which means that there will be billions of children and teenagers who are doomed to hell, billions of people who we see as good people who lived good lives but due to their inherent nature were sinful and yet were never given the free gift of salvation due to where they were born, how they were raised, etc
Atheists are going to represent a tiny minority of those doomed to hell if you go by orthodox christian beliefs so why even mention them?
Are the parents of those children who died young and are doomed to hell going to gloat over their childs fate while they're in heaven?

>> No.19605762

Trying to instill the fear of Christian Hell in me is like a Muslim trying to make you fear Muslim Hell. Its a baseless threat that makes you look like the religion of assholes. I worry about the consequences of my own actions, not the Jewish demiurge.

If God exists then what could be worse than separation from Him?

>> No.19605772

Not true. At least in Catholic doctrine you aren't doomed to hell if you had never been exposed to the concept of Christianity. Atheists on the other hand have been exposed so they are at a great risk of hell.

Yawn. Same old nonsense.
>b-b-but think of all the people that don't believe in Jesus!! they'll go to heckin Hell and that won't be wholesome!!!
There is no salvation except through Jesus. Sorry! That's how it works. We have the same urgent mission to save souls as we've always had. The secularism of the world, and all its other religions, have no bearing on Christian truth: Christ is the redeemer of man, and without admitting Christ into one's heart, and being redeemed through Him, one falls to Hell. Them's the facts my friend.
"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:16)
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
>there will be billions of children and teenagers who are doomed to hell
Yes
>billions of people who we see as good people who lived good lives
We have no say in the matter. A good life tainted by sin is still worthy of punishment.
>due to where they were born, how they were raised
Sorry! There has literally never been a better time for non-Christians to come to the faith than in the time of the internet.
>Atheists are going to represent a tiny minority of those doomed to hell if you go by orthodox christian beliefs so why even mention them?
Depends on when the final judgement occurs. There's plenty of time for Atheist to make up the majority in Hell. Atheists are especially worth talking about because they (and their families) are mostly lapsed Christians, and as such, Atheism is the biggest threat to salvation from within the church.

Yeah I tend to prefer your line of thinking over >>19605772
Having read the bible I definitely think this is the correct interpretation of the bible and imo, invincible ignorance is just a cope, it seems to open up the possibility that these people could be saved but what kind of assurance is that? Christians will say that everyone is capable of knowing good from evil and therefore they're culpable for their sins
You could also say that for people who were born in a time and place without knowledge of Christianity they would just automatically not be in the elect in which case it's not that strange or unfair
That depends on whether you agree with calvinism or not I guess

>Circle of Hell
Sorry anon, but the circles of hell aren’t real and we’re made up by Dante for inferno. At any rate, that’d be the first circle.
>(getting into Heaven ain't happening lmao)
If you accept Jesus and turn your life around to serve him it can happen.
