A major hollywood studio is making a film about Frederich Nietzsche (Christian Bale has been cast in the lead role). What events/periods in NEET-chee's life would you want to see depicted on the big screen?
Some zoomers have already co-opted Nietzsche but do you think a mainstream movie would be beneficial or detrimental in drawing people's attention to Nietzsche's work?

I think that it will definetely bring a hell of a lot attention to Nietzche's work, altough 70% of that attention will be from braindead social media zoomers who can't even comprehent Pinocio or shit like that.

Honestly think the movie would be an interesting one, since Nietche himself was an interesting character, it could make for a great character study. Bale is goated tho and i believe he will be great

Very hard to make a good film of Moustache Man's life because all the passion and excitement was in his head and in the writing. It's much worse than e.g. a biopic of a composer, because then at least you can play the music.

Stirring pictures of him walking around mountains with a voice-over from Zarathustra might not be terrible I suppose.

The important question of course is who is going to play everyone's favourite based philosopher-sister, Elisabeth.

I love Bale as an actor, but they could have found a German actor who looks more like Nieztsche. Not Willy-Gonzalez Ochsenknecht , more like a lesser known big-skulled guy. For the latter matter, yes, it will be detrimental as fuck, my boy. Imagine Joker but for edgy teens and wine aunts combined.

Prepare for the incoming flood of Neetzuh worshippers. You just know that because Christian Bale is in the movie, and because Christain Bale was also the lead in American Psycho, half of the posters on this board will start believing in Nietzsche’s work.

Nietzsche's music is far superior to his writing.

The fact that most people only consider the latter tells you how far they're evolved towards the Übermensch.

i kinda take the not bad back. some of his pieces seem to be inspired by Mozart's 'eine musikalischer spass', but without the irony.
that is to say, they're bad.
