What does /lit/ like to sip whilst reading? Pic related for me.

I prefer tea, avoiding alcohol as I feel it impairs my ability to contemplate and enjoy the subtle nuances of the author's work. I feel this one factor alone goes a long way toward explaining why so many people have such trouble appreciating otherwise excellent works like Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Contrariwise, tea has a mild amount of caffeine which stimulates the creative and imaginative processes, as well as a rainbow of antioxidants that facilitate overall brain function.

But what about you, /lit/?

I rarely drink anything when I read. If I do it's water or soda.

Usually I'm too engrossed in what I'm reading to drink anything. Or I'm in bed.

Absolutely no idea, to be honest. Happens with several brands of coffee, but not with 1 decaf brand I tried. Although I drink energy drinks all the time and get no problem at all.

You should get an allergy test done. They might be able to figure out exactly what it is and you can find a brand of coffee that you can drink.
