I'm a native English speaker and i never really brothered learning the grammar. Most of the English grammar resources i find online are aimed towards non-native speakers. Where do i start?

>Can't get anywhere without learning hundreds of inflections that might be totally irregular depending on the word
German makes me feel like a total idiot, I really respect people who put in the effort to learn a foreign language as an adult.

even absolute retards become fluent in multiple languages. literally all you have to do is go to easy german on youtube and watch their videos all day. language learners these days don't study grammar or vocabulary, they just listen until they get it. the grammar really is not that hard anyway, it's actually not even that inflected compared to Latin. the amount of words you have to memorize to learn all german grammar is less than you would have to memorize to perform a school play.

it's not different than learning it as a kid

Latin is much more regular though. I still remember the three Latin declensions I had to memorise and they work for 99% of Latin words. German has more exceptions.

However, your post does make me feel better about it. I shouldn't be so defeatist.

That's a pozzed way of learning languages though
If you haven't studied the grammar of a language you don't really know a language
