looking for anything, esp. sociological and anthropological texts on why nepotism is a thing generally speaking. not really looking for /pol/ shit despite generally being reactionary in my outlook/wordlview. just general nepotism.

>be semi-successful.
>Procreate or have friends.
>Identify with your offspring or friends through either empathy or pride.
>Realise your wealth and estate will be taken by the government or you could give it to specific people.
>Already be in a position of duty/social responsibility to your offspring/friends to guide them through life/make their life easier/carry on your legacy.

What exactly aren't you getting here?

I hate it when lefties complain about nepotism. Lefties are one of the most nepotist people in the world.

The Old Testament unironically. The family is the strongest social bond and unit creating links of affiliation and duty.
At the same time we see in the bible the basic egotistical desire which motivates the expansion of familial power. Fathers pass their power and inheritance to their sons in the hopes of seeing the continuance of their own name--that through their son their name will live on and still confer glory to them beyond the grave.
Jacob/Israel explicitly says this at the end of Genesis.
The author Unamuno also tackles similar theme in much of his writing.

In this case they're the same thing dipshit. I spelled out the "why" for you in basic steps.

You're either retarded from a traumatic brain injury suffered as a child, or you're not being clear as to the scope of the answers you're seeking here in this thread, so expand on what you're talking about and help us to help you, or choke on your own sputum like the flailing idiot I so hope you not to be.

His commentary on fascism being cured by traveling. Some people cannot afford to do so, so hence, people remain around familiar territory are de facto fascists, that would mean almost all of middle America. And if you agree with that premise, you’re literally no different than a modern day champagne socialist (I’m not going to elaborate on what that entails, I’m sure you can figure that out. Think gentrification, pretending to like Karl Marx, love diversity but won’t let minorities live in your neighborhood, etc) I’m sure you catch my drift.
