>> No.2276098

>>2276097
i wanna go to college but will probably end up at a cal state, sfsu probably since anyone can get in.
right now though in hs my major focuses are working on the yearbook (which is disguised as a journalism class) and mock trial. our school has pretty good programs for both. so i'll probably end up doing something related to either of those. i just think that i don't really want to be a journalist, because i hate interviewing people on the spot, and the pay would probably suck. and being a journalist going to sfsu is so cliche/ so then i think maybe i'll go into something law-related, but then i think that i would hate that even more.

so i don't know. im kind of lost.

and im in socal, ventura county

I used to play guitar a bit but the high school life kinda pulled me away from it. You know parties and stuff. One of my best friends (who i have been hanging out with for 8 years on and off) has been playing for like 7 years. We started hanging out again and when someone is THAT into music its kind of hard for them to hang out with people who don't play music if you know what I mean. He's been giving me bass lessons and applying what i know about bass to guitar was a pretty easy transition for me.

This is him

give me a break. lit IS fucking soc. you think people on lit actually give a shit about discussing, in-depth, difficult, pressing, or innovating concepts? get over yourself. if you were the postmodern fellow, then congrats--that was actually an interesting topic. I meant to post in that, but simply forgot. otherwise, lit is sci-fi opinion, david foster wallace envy, or catcher "read this and tell me if its good" bullshit.

when was the last time on here you had a legitimate conversation on lit that you walked away from educated, challenged, or enlightened? now compare this to the number of times you've posted, waited, and have been disappointed. that's fucking lit. don't make it into something it's not, e.g. a forum of intelligent deliberation.

>> No.2276225

>>2276178

I have made a few successful threads of late, one of them being the post-modern rant. I also answered two peoples questions today as best as I could, while I only see your trip-code wallowing in here and calling one person stupid on a different thread on the front page. In fact a great portion of tripfag posts just call other people stupid encouring a shit enviroment on /lit/.

And you are seriously comparing yourself to someone over the internet flaunting how high and mighty and great you are? Get real, you are only a human like the rest, you tripfags are just a pretentious bunch of asspie kids that make little info-pics about yourselves. All the completely off-topic and shitty "what is that book on my sofa" threads, or that "who should I vote for" thread were all started by you people. I'm not saying that anonymous users don't do that, and we have our fair share of asses too, but you are just calling for it hardly any tripfags post anything of worth. You are just turning /lit/ into /soc/ as rightly already mentioned in this thread.

Your post also reads like it was written by a pubescent "well I think quentin is smarteer then you" What are even trying to argue? you are just spouting out schoolyard drivel. Even if he were smarter --which I nor you (Mr. internet psychologist) have the authority to assess-- what difference would it make, he still clutters /lit/ with two bad threads for one that is on topic as was the case a few days ago.

There aren't any english translations available as far as I know (there should be, since there are french versions).

I've been reading about his techniques but haven't tried any of them. They are like activities you develop to get rid of a problem. In Psicomagia he explains all his bases and the technique itself, and in Manual de Psicomagia he presents a lot of casual problems and how to get rid of them by using his method. I think it is a rather speculative way to solve problems, but have seen several sesions in which people make them and feel relief. Jodorowsky states that it is unimportant having scientific validity, and tries to use superstition in his favor.
Have you seen the movies?
