me too and I doubt I'll be rereading the mess that was AFFC or the slog of ADWD just to remind myself of it. I'll read TWOW if it ever comes out but I'll have no fucking idea what is going on.

Maybe just went to go and talk about his deadline in person but I can see it releasing early next year maybe around March or April if he feels nearly done. Still can't see why he can't just shove material from TWOW onto Dream if he feels the novel has gotten too big but I understand completely why he wants it to be as massive as it is

So lads top three povs you ate looking forward too? I think just about everyone well be great in some capacity but I think the most I will be excited about will be Bran, Sam and maybe Cersei. Of course there is stuff like the potential Fake Aegon story arc which looks intriguing but I think we will never get a one hundred percent answer on his parentage as it makes him a more compelling character.

My massive cope is that TWOW is the hardest book because it's the penultimate book and everything for ADOS will need to be set up in it.
In theory ADOS should be more narrow in scope (less characters because TWOW will have major deaths, characters finally meeting instead of being spread across the world) and he should know what is going to happen because he has known the ending for a while. Getting to that point is difficult especially with the amount of storylines and characters he is currently balancing hence why TWOW is taking so long.

I think his biggest problem is that the show did his ending where Bran became king. And because they rushed to that conclusion everyone think it is a shit ending. Bran has so much more coverage in the books that I think GRRM probably would have done it right, but the show has tainted it for him.
