You would have 5 different schizos all arguing with each other for 200+ comments, everyone was linking to their own weird, equally batshit blog, David Myatt was there that one time trolling people. There were these two guys in particular that were going at each other for years after Land abandoned it, right up until it went offline.

Yeah, comments were sometimes interesting, often schizophrenic, Land himself though never really engaged in arguments, mostly one reply only, if at all. The only extended back and forth I ever saw was on the question of "Why should one value intelligence optimization above everything else", basically his personal axiom, and it was inconclusive. I spent like two weeks mostly just reading Xenosystems but barely scratched the surface. I guess he had a lot of time on his hands.
