It's alright, I guess. Dunno if it's worth getting in hardcover. It's basically a book of two halves. The first 150 pages are pretty damn bad, with prose that seems like it was written by someone with (actual) brain damage. The last 150 pages are generally pretty good, with good (and valid) prose, interesting characters, a good sped-up timeline, and you get to understand things a lot better. Overall, probably worth buying.

Any opinions yet? I know it only came out (I think) 3 weeks ago.

My library's only just got it, but I'm currently reading A Fan's Notes by Frederick Exley so it'll have to wait.

She's going to be speaking at my city library in November I believe, I might go see her.

Well it's at the Free Library of Philadelphia, so I'll leave you to figure that one out.

The city of brotherly love, huh?
We could meet-up and have some "brotherly love" of our own. No homo.

I keep expecting to see a retail epub link somewhere in the internet otherwise I have no plans on buying it on this month.

Here is a review of the book by Joyce Carol Oates http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archives/2012/sep/27/cards-identity/?pagination=false

How long did you spend looking for a tripcode that approximated his? You are truly obsessed, man.

I think 2 minutes.
Maybe less.
Obviously I used tripcode explorer to generate it.
I just tell it what I want and that's what I get.
If I left it running over night, probably could get few more digits. A few days, the whole thing.
So, no, not "truly" obsessed.
