Can cardio get you ripped? I like running because it's easier to get runner's high a than lifting high. I only work out to get high

Actually, it doesn't strengthen them either.

It can increase their endurance, but running will not actually make your legs "stronger". I.e. you wont increase how much weight you can squat by running.

Also, while size !=strength, strength = size. You can't get stronger without getting bigger, but you can get bigger without getting very strong.

It can make your everything "look" better, because the expended energy in cardio can easily create a caloric deficit, which in turn causes the loss of bodyfat, which is hoe muscles gain definition. You can be very weak, but with low bodyfat you will look "cut" or "ripped" as long as you have some muscle underneath the fat that you've lost.

They are decently strong. They are also typically very short. As far as lean mass:size ratio, they tend to look "big" in proportion. Pic related.

Actually there was nothing false about what I said. Look up the difference between "Myofibrillar hypertrophy" and "Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy" and it will explain to you why you can increase cellular size without much strength gain, but you cannot substantially gain strength without increasing muscular size and quantity.

Oh look everyone, it's the guy who failed his biology class is high school. Of course you can change cell size, otherwise the very term "hypertrophy" didn't exist. When you get fat, your fat cells grow larger. When you exercise, your muscle cells get larger. You can't significantly increase their number, unless you are on growth hormones.

Getting ripped is about mussel recovery.
Being skinny =/= ripped.
Long distance running causes too much wear and tear on mussels. Sprints and lifting are better. After sprints and lifting you have to let mussels recover. You can't get that recovery from long distance running.
Marathon runners are only skinny, not ripped. Sprinters are super fucking ripped.

15 min high cardo exercise is way better than 45 min light jogging.

Every other day I do a 25 min bike ride. 5 min warm up, then 15 mins high speed pedaling, 5 min cooldown.
