didn't like where this started, found my footing in the middle, and then had the right idea for the ending but failed to execute it. i'll probably come back to this one and try to fix it later, on my own

as i finished i realize revealing the aliens at the very end was the wrong place to do it, but eh there you go

what a person being murdered (stabbed to death or something) is thinking in the few seconds they realize it's happening. reminiscing about their life, thinking about things they wish they'd done, what their friends will think, stuff like that.
