she did end up going to yale or some shit right?
The only thing missing from this series was them being catholic and it would have been a nice telenovela.

Her best friend was a chinesse catholic prog-rock enthusiast drummer who wanted to bang a cute and quirky guy but was too worried about her mom and sex before marriage, they end up trying her dream scene of loosing her virginity in the beach and it's awful so she has a small arc of turning back into religion and feeling guilty just to go back to "lol why would anyone be catholic?".

It's all fairly bassic, half of it is HS required reading in a demanding school (which she went to) a quarter is pop shit (Harry Pooper, Dan Brown) and the last quarter is first year stuff if you study english at Yale (which she went to thanks to her grandparents' money and connection while her mother screw the owner of a dinner)

I mean that I don't remember the series having that many episodes, wikipedia says:
>No. of seasons 7

And those are 300 something books, so kinda 2 books per episode? sounds like a lot, for an episode, I don't mean for a person in the timeframe of the show (from school to uni).

I'm just as fucked up ad you'd imagine only that I spend a couple hours reading philosophy and some random time reading fiction. We could talk about those topics, but living with me would be just as difficult as living with anyone else.

I'm not kidding man, /lit/ girls are the worst for a long term relationship. I tried three times and I don't want to try a fourth.

>> No.6060352

The list is pretty shit because there's no context.

A lot of the pop / pleb stuff like Dan Brown and shit are things she just mocks in the show. Some of them are books adapted into movies, which are only on the list because she makes a reference to the movie.

Most of here reading is from her being a go-hard wannabe academic, hence all the high school and college stuff.

Most of her personal reading was a little more /lit/ (In Search of Lost Time and History of the Peloponnesian War and stuff)

Anyway, I was just half joking, all girls are wonderful and mean bitches on their own regardless of socioeconomically and cultural circumstances. I have dated artsy ones before and they have their own quirks. Since I've never dated one that was too much into reading I was wondering if those quirks were similar or not.

THE LINGUONYM "LATINO(A)" IS OBSOLETE; IT NO LONGER REFERS TO ANYTHING DISTINCT DUE TO PROLONGED SOCIOCULTURAL ADMIXTURE BETWEEN "ANGLOSAXON" AMERICAN CULTURE, AND "LATINAMERICAN" CULTURE, CREATING WIDESPREAD DISPARITY BETWEEN NATIVE LANGUAGE, CULTURAL BACKGROUND, AND NATIONALITY.

THE ONLY POSSIBLE MEANING THAT "LATINO(A)" COULD CURRENTLY HAVE IS THAT OF REFERRING TO SOMEONE WHOSE NATIVE LANGUAGE IS AN ITALIC ONE, REGARDLESS OF CULTURAL BACKGROUND, OR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN; ACCORDING TO THIS DEFINITION, ALEXIS BLEDEL IS NOT "LATINA" BECAUSE HER NATIVE LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH.

IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD, COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IS IRRELEVANT TO NATIVE LANGUAGE; MANY PERSONS NATIVELY SPEAK A LANGUAGE DIFFERENT FROM THE OFFICIAL ONE, OR ONES, SPOKEN IN THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN —LANGUAGE, AND NATIONALITY ARE NO LONGER INEXTRICABLE FROM EACH OTHER.
