That particular one is JMW Turner, considered by many to be Britain's greatest painter.

Intersting (or not), the one at >>6153635 (It's called Rain, Steam and Speed – The Great Western Railway), probably wouldn't have looked like that when Turner painted it - he was slack when it came to sizing his medium and the paint is all kind of slumped and blurred together. I love that accidental and ephemeral quality to Turner. It's amazing to think he was painting in Napoleonic times, but his works look like 20th century pieces.

If you really dig turner, there's the Clore gallery at the Tate in London and it's all Turner, all the time, all singing, all dancing.

Anyway, favourite art work is

It's too hard to choose.
Either Goya, or Turner, or Velasquez... when I saw paintings of them irl they made me feel all weird, happy, sad, etc. Dunno, it was weird, I didn't expect paintings to make me feel so much. Last one I saw was Turner at the Louvre.

Book, same problem... Portrait of the Artist is up there, as is Hundred Years of Solitude... according to bookreads my best rated authors are Borges, Marquez, Joyce... along with Asimov due to my nerd childhood. Those + Stoner in the recent years, have made me feel a lot

Anyway...
TL;DR: Pic related and One Hundred Years of Solitude.

teacher lead us to the mona lisa
i left my group and kept wandering

delayed our whole group by 90min
told my teacher that some old man fainted and that i called an ambulance and stayed with him
not sure if he believed, but i got away with it
