Just finished Slapstick. Was nice. Going to start another one. Have three. Which order to read in?
Mother Night, Cat's Cradle, Hocus Pocus.

Catd Cradle was extremely vapid imo, every other page introduces a new anime tier character with wacky clothes and hair who's of course sooooo random too *holds up spork*

Language exists to express meaning. You got the meaning. No point in using excess words. Waste of time. Time is the only thing we own in life. Waste of time means waste of life. Thank me for not wasting your life.

Looking for opinions on books. This is the literature board, not the petty squabbles board.

I mean it's not just because American people read Vonnegut in high school then its childish. I mean in Italy we study Dantes divina commedia, Cato and the romans in high school but I don't consider everyone who appreciate them a kid. Stop being pretentious

I still call my parents mater and pater after reading this years ago. I loved Slapstick. I've only read Cat's Cradle and Hocus Pocus out of those three, so I say Mother Night.

I shelled put 30 bucks for 4 of his story's and I only read Slaughterhouse-Five and about to finish Cat's Cradle. Slaughterhouse was decent but Cat's Cradle was so boring for me, I'm getting nothing out of it.
