This version sucks even worse than the BBC version with Derek Jacobi.

You have some spelling errors there, I think you meant to say "This version is basically the best ever and nobody else should even try to come close."

In which case, you'd be wrong. People can certainly try!

I always loved how Kenneth handled the insanity scene with Polonius. This version of Hamlet is godtier aside from Kenneth being so unnecessarily loud and hammy all the time (he does that with all of his Shakespeare though)

>> No.759627

I love how in this version hamlet did whatever the fuck he wanted. It was ballin'.

So fucking amazing. The staging of the "To be or not to be" soliloquy was absolutely fucking beautiful in that version.

>> No.759642

I liked this version better than the Mel Gibson one.

I liked the scene at the beginning where Hamlet stays behind after everyone exits in celebration and confetti. Great cinematography.

...and a fifty-year-old Kenneth "Ulster Midget" Braannaugghh parading around like a faggot in a vanity piece that shows very little respect for the original script.

Yes, in spite of presenting the complete text, it essentially treats Shakespeare's story like toilet paper.

>> No.759889

I liked it, it was beautifully shot, I love that basically none of the text was cut, KB did a good job with the character but he is so roly-poly sometimes I don't even, I just want to like roll him up in a carpet or something
