Why are there so many shitty threads on /lit/ recently and what can we do about the lack of quality?

There is a simple solution, let me explain containment boards.

For one example, there is a large portion of the 4chan userbase that is anti-semitic. If it was just one person memeing, they could be banned have have threads deleted. However there are so many 4chan has to accept it as part of the culture.

However, by creating a containment board of /pol/, 85% of the anti-semtism goes there, and for the most part it works. Of course it sometimes leaks out, but it's better than having the entire /pol/userbase spread out over every board shitting up the place.

People spamming gay porn everywhere was basically why /lgbt/ was created

Misogynists/manchildren etc are also a significant part of 4chan, but they don't have a containment board, if they had one this shitposting would drop by 80% overnight.

It's because /r9k/ is literally raiding and colonizing your board. I'm in a Skype group with 43 participants and the whole topic is shitposting and taking over your beloved safe space. It is an organized effort and they've been at it for about a month.
I don't participate in it, and I swore I wouldn't tell any of you that it's happening, but it is.
