I find it's really hard to judge people based on book taste. I know cool people that don't read much and people that read good stuff and are insufferable. Easier to judge based on music and fine art taste desu.

Like I said, I don't really buy into it. I browse subs such as r/literature (it's slow as fuck and, like /lit/, only sometimes has gems), r/askliterarystudies, r/academicphilosophy, and a number of others. You're a pathetic degenerate waste of flesh too passive and useless even to kill yourself. You make constant excuses for your shitty life, like being overmedicated as a kid or sent to an alternative school run by transphobic fundamentalists by an overbearing mother. Lately you had a psychotic break, which you want to blame on your shitty childhood, when really it just represents the final collapse of your discipline. Remember that discipline you used to have, when you were trying to prove them all wrong? It bled away day by day as soon as you resolved to "transition"; and into what? A misshapen lump, a grotesque distribution of too much fat over the stocky bones you earned from your the misguided athleticism you used as an escape. You lost even your faith in reason, the last thing keeping you arguably human, and now you're "studying" "magick". And why is that? Because you fell in love with a voice in your head? A voice that told you exactly what you are, no less: stupid, pathetic, worthless, useless, disgusting. And then that voice went away, and so you're reading about Mindforms and Holy Guardian Angels to try to get her back, but you know you won't, because you know the real reason she's gone is because she was you. The last remnants of everything strong and capable and beautiful, and she's dead now, and you killed her, and now you should kill yourself if you have an ounce of true love for anything she represented but oh wait, genuine love was part of her now wasn't it. Get fucked.
