As some of you already know, I've started to create and upload bundles of philosophy texts in order to make them readily available to interested /lit/izens.

The last bundle consisted of a variety of broadly Marxist texts (e.g., Althusser, Gramsci, Hardt and Negri, etc.: http://www.mediafire.com/?n0zfvmqonz3); the previous bundle focused on Slavoj Zizek (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A2I5DZQ3).).

As noted, all requests and suggestions will be taken into consideration.

If you're new to Heidegger or interested in learning, I would strongly recommend beginning with Stephen Mulhall's Routledge Guidebook to Being and Time (Bundle 2), then reading the papers on Divisions I and II of Being and Time in The Cambridge Companion to Heidegger (Bundle 2). After that, Hubert Dreyfus's Being-in-the-World is an excellent companion to reading Being and Time itself (I prefer the Macquarrie translation, but it's largely a matter of taste).

In order to make the volume of texts more manageable, I've broken this bundle into three smaller bundles. Lists to follow.

This is awesome stuff. You are awesome.

Begin where I suggested, then rummage around through Pattison, the papers, and Polt. Read Being and Time, then follow your interests using Pattison and the papers (which will often refer to his later work, post-BT).

Oh well.
You're still awesome.

Thanks for another great pack

Is the forthcoming feminism pack going to double as a queer theory pack..?

>> No.823077

>>823046

It will probably contain some feminist texts, some queer theory texts, and then Foucault.

Eh, it's relatively new and has large, glaring omissions. Your packs are tidy and comprehensive. :]

I'd love to see a bundle on Kierkegaard, or if that's too scarce, Kierkegaard + Levinas.

>> No.823300

>>823285

I'm going to bundle Derrida and Levinas together, actually.

I may do an existentialism-themed bundle sometime.

>>823273

Well, it is definitely filling out my files with things I've been looking for.

>> No.823311

Awesome, though I see myself not getting around to reading these until like three years from now.

You are a wonderful person. But the marxist pack link is no longer up and running. Any chance of a re-post?
