I do hope you are all ready for the New Years Eve Ball being held tonight in the Great Hall. Remember this is a formal event, so do please make sure your shoes are polished and your clothes suitable ironed for the occasion.

Oh and, for those who have already secured dates for the event, please do remember that staff members will be on hand to make sure nobody sneaks away with their date. We do have standards here remember!
