If so, how are they?
I have an intuitive feeling that they would be filled with a bunch pseuds.
There's no literature club at my shity uni. Should I make one? Is it worth it?

No, it takes charm and/or cute girls to make one and you obviously lack both

I can easily make one right now. I got the required member count, advisor, area all checked and ready to go, if need be.
The question is whether I should make one or not, and if the club will just attract a bunch of pseuds

Of course it will attract pseuds. Even on lit the vast majority are pseuds. You're probably a pseud.

I’m in a philosophy club in my college. The Jews at my school are mad at us though.

Why are (((they))) mad at you?

>> No.10697396

>>10697370
Because my school has a lot of Jews ( business school), an extremist group popped up and wanted to kill all Palestinians. My president wasn’t as thrilled as I was about the idea of a race war starting right here in our college so he invited them to teach them the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist. They were not amused

I would quite like it if there was one near me, but as a pretentious person I worry I'd just hate all the other pretentious people.

Pseudo intellectuals

>> No.10697825

I sometimes discuss stuff with a guy in the library.
Mostly how the Greeks compare to modern stuff and such. He really likes the Greeks and Romans for some reason.
I don't really know if this could be called a literature club, but it's all I have.

You should make it just for the $$$ (if your school is like mine was, even the small clubs get some amount of money). You'd get a few free books out of it.

this. most college societies exist to pay the rent and expenses of the main members, excluding the treasurer/secretary.

I founded an esports club 3 years ago at my uni and it has over 200 members now. the hardest part is keeping people interested and passionate.
