How do you deal with 90% of people being plebs who have nothing interesting to say? Call me an autist, but most normies are fucking brain dead and I can’t relate to them. Even when I tried to get into sports I was miles ahead of people in terms of my knowledge of statistics and sports history. I hate this shit. I feel like I put a lot of effort to be interesting and well rounded but the more I learn the more alienated I feel.

There's nothing you can do except hope and wait for the rapture. People are more interesting than you give them credit for though, op, in the literary sense. Most lives have truly literary moments, however, that you will be able to access or understand other's experiences is in no way guaranteed, especially in this most postmodern sea of shit that we call contemporary culture. Most people, while they were never truly interesting or creative to begin with, are yielding what little individuality they have to the the endless stream of little identity boxes, what you could call echo chambers. You and I are no better in this aspect. We're just more self aware.

You need to humble yourself by reading the following folks:
Plato
Montaigne (who specifically hates intellectualism and talks of reading the ancients to humble oneself)
Shakespeare
Schopenhauer

>knowledge of statistics and sports history
Dude, you sound insufferable. Statistics are Joe Rogan-tier I-have-no-brain-so-I-must-settle shit. Anyone worth his weight in BRAIN MATTER will set statistics aside because the correlation-doesn't-equal-causation proves quickly and consistently that 99% of statistics is about trying to prove someone's cause. Instead of fully explaining why statistics is bad, I'll point you towards the beginning chapters of Weininger's Sex and Character and all of Gravity's Rainbow. And REALLY, dude? Your knowledge of sports history? Just in case this isn't bait and you're actually this un-self-aware you could also benefit from lifting, not ingesting any type of drug for a while, especially weed, going outside, and actually reading the classics, at least for a while, and at least until the point where you might toss around the conspiracy theory that maybe the normies have it right, because inside they're not letting you know that they know more than you, where in fact they're probably tossing around all these ideas (without the pretentiousness of half-digested bogged-down ideas in their mind that they got from half-lazily reading some shitty literature, and thus semi-fully developed ideas of OWN) on the way over to their normie girlfriend's house where they then proceed to arrive, eat, relax, and wait for the next day to start.

You'll eventually learn that this is a problem of being out of place in your social class.

This is partly because you have a taste for luxuries you can't really afford (like art) and partly because you are biologically more similar to old professional bourgeois families, where selective breeding has produced highly literate people.

"Professional" here is used in an extremely specific sense: jobs that require years of schooling and that have been around for hundreds of years.

STEM tends to attract people from families without many generations of professional selection at work. In short, they're not thoroughbreds.

"Thoroughbred" professional families are most common in the oldest cities of West and Central Europe and in the oldest cities of New England.

I went from not understanding sports to being able to predict plays two plays ahead of time, i would call backscreens and picks 30 seconds before they’d happen when we’d watch ncaa tourney in school and could predict zone vs double cover against certain offenses before it would even show up, with no experience and could easily tell which defender failed their assignment, could tell you who was obviously the most efficient ball handler, who was obviously being underused by coaches. such pleb faggotry, sports are latrine consciousness inducing nonsense

Here is the correct angle to tackle the question btw: because of the 50+1 rule the Bundesliga doesn't have the financial power Spanish and clubs have. So, eventhough Bayern Munich is one of the best and most valuable clubs (and brand) in the world, it is not surprising that they lost. They also have an obvious problem finding adequate replacements for their wingers Robben and Ribery due to the recently inflated transfer prices and salaries for top players. Paying like other top clubs does not fit their philosophy, which is in line with other German clubs. It is interesting to see the austerity mind of the Germans even in professional soccer. You can see that is true since Robben did not participate in the match and Bayern had no replacement for him. Who knows, if they will even find a replacement until the next season!

Here is the brainlet angle to tackle the question: Not fair! Soccer has no important stats!

Is it fun to larp as an intellectual? I've considered doing it before but I've never been up my own ass enough to commit

Thinking is abnormal

Most normies learn a few facts about their hobbies through osmosis, an easy process for them, because that sort of "learning" is the reverse of a coin whose obverse is the natural warmth of the social protoplasmic medium that all normies love to be immersed in

Actually thinking, really thinking about things and attempting to discern facts and factual relations and create architectonics that link up with other architectonics, until you realise that you are a distinct person who can never be immersed in any medium or reduced to the bacchic disindividuation state natural to all normies, is both rare and painful

Most people you see are like those huskies who can say "I want food now," because they learned how to groan in acceptable patterns from their masters. That's a normie. A normie is basically a dog but much worse because not loveable at all. A normie doesn't think, it just groans in patterns, and once in a while someone who is actually is capable of thinking comes long and orders the patterns a little better, or gives the patterns some names and labels, and the normies learn to groan a faded, routinised form of the thinking person's original rationale for this ordering, and then the normies think they are thinking too because they are in some sense participating in intellectual order and not in purely affective chaos. But normies are never thinking and you should never mistake what they do for thinking. With five or six people of unswerving obedience, and thirty minutes of fore-planning, I could start some kind of massive revolution right now just by manipulating hindbrain-driven pleb normies into doing whatever I want, by starting a rumor or saying some celebrity wore a hat promoting the course of action I am also promoting and having the other five or six people confirm it so that the normie thinks that it's approved group consensus and realigns his entire worldview to do whatever I tell him to do because I have the hot insider line to celebrity hat ideology.

I wrote about this once, not necessarily about most people being plebs, but how there was nobody to challenge anything I had to say about anything beyond their very limited domains of interest, and so if I wanted to discuss something like free will, I could only talk and they could only listen, so my ideas remained totally unrefined by criticism. Basically their lack of interest is not harmful only to themselves but to anybody who wants to even attempt to move beyond the banal even slightly, it is harmful for society as a whole for everybody to be so "braindead".
