No. That's the problem more or less every person erring on the side of Marx has had since Marx, up until Zizek. It's especially apparent in Zizek, who spends pages diagnosing the problem then prescribes a vague "radical socialization" in the final paragraph without explaining this any further.

Yeah, I've got a lot of /pol/ in me from back when I was really into that and I just can't jive with the overtly Marxist parts of the theory even if I do think that capitalism is not always necessarily a good thing and that as it exists now is probably destroying culture as we know it.

I agree with Zizek in this, that we had better get used to living in piles of trash, and that meaningful social change will only come when the majority of people in the "first world" are confronted with ecological and interpersonal horrors on a daily basis.
