Eragon is the best thing Paolini wrote.

It has the least amount of purple prose, the plot isn't all over the fucking place, Eragon isn't a mega-sue quite yet, there aren't any god awful sub plots that exist for the sole purpose of adding to the page count, there aren't any pretentious scenes where Eragon ponders the nature of war to himself, and it's the shortest book.

Entire thing sucked; Normally I don't mind slow-paced books, but it was slow-paced, AND nothing happened AND the writing was shit. In the movie, the acting was shit. C. Paolini is shit. His book is bad, and he should FEEL bad. And so should you, for toting this Twilight-esque dragon-phant'sy monstrosity of assbaby delight.

I read this when I was like.... in 5th-6th grade. [Notice: I'm in 10th grade now] and I didn't like it then, I recently retried reading the series again, though lost interest and care through re-reading Eragon and only got about half way. Personal rating of this book would be about a.... 4/10, couldn't keep my interest and was kind of retarded.
