What's the best novel that you've read this year?

Just finished Coin Locker Babies last week, it was an amazing ride but the end, although still good, left me a little bit dissapointed. I liked more Piercing, which I read too this year.

I have literally literally unmemetically unrionically not read a single book this year. And by "not read" I don't meant "not finished" or "only skimmed through", I mean I have literally not opened or read a single passage from any book at all for ever 12 months now.
