The private entities only are able to operate because of the government's Monopoly on force, and the government is only able to sustain itself via the economic infrastructure the market provides. There is no removing the government from the equation without by definition removing the ability of the private corporations to operate. Entities are only able to operate in the expanse that their power can provide for them. Does not the government provide enforcement for the standards of the economy? Does not the government provide the main methods of recourse if an economic crime is committed against you? Regardless of their efficacy, the government fundamentally is required to enforce the standards of the market. There has never been a functional market without the existence of the state to enforce the law of the land, and without the enforcement of law markets cease to function.

I think I will actually read the book and get an informed opinion. I've read the opening, just to get to the source of the whole "loool, lobster" shit.

The point he was making was pretty sound though. Hierarchies exist in organisms as distant from us as lobsters and as closely related as primates. As a result, they are something we need to be able to accept and navigate.

Once I've made it through, I'll get back to you (obviously not directly, but I will start a topic with my thoughts).
