I don't know what it is: the exuberance and unrestrained flamboyance, the construction and projection of a self-image that basically cariacatures the LGBT in the most stereotypical and uninteresting manner possible, the vapid and shallow socio-cultural and artistic ideals that these people invariably pedal, or the insistence on turning their sexual identity and inclinations into a spectacle for the world to 'enjoy'.

Regarding the last point: I have, on several occasions, discussed the topic of public displays of promiscuity with these sort of people and they will 100% have one of several possible response (1) they will simply bite the bullet and aknowledge that they want nothing more than a feast of man meat, (2) they will say it's "not inherently sexual"/that they're "just having innocent fun", (3) they will say that you're closed minded/a fascist/don't know how to have fun or suggest that you must have some sort mental health issue or other "personal problem" that prevents you from having what they consider to be a normal and healthy sex life.

I actually wanted to write a story about a crossdressing prostitute who eventually becomes traditional or escapes being "degenerate."

The scene would be a meeting with a client going wrong, the protagonist being violently beaten, raped, and then a scene of our protagonist being led naked through the woods by a white deer and attaining some kind of spiritual apotheosis. The idea isn't too serious, but i like the idea of a bloodied androgyne following a white deer into the woods. It's just a cool image.

I also wanted to do it because I do think most commonly found narratives of sin and redemption seem to look at alcoholism / drug addiction / violence as serious vices that need to be overcome, whereas the modern age clearly has issues with pornography and warped sexuality such that people need to realize that sexuality can be a vice and moreover, that one can redeem oneself even after indulging in that vice.
