OP here, just want to day I made it 40 pages into this book and if it does get better let me know. But as far as I can tell it's a very poorly written attempt at humor that was published after all the funniest books were already written

I agree, I thought it would be like reading Kiwifarms but in a good, literary sense of the word and it was just average. Stopped after first third of the book out of sheer boredom. If he had a lolcow thread its pages would not even reach triple digits; I'd rather read about daily escapades of Bob Chipman, Spoony or some TGWTG granny cunt.

Without a doubt it's the most Reddit book I have ever read. 5 years later and I'm still cringing at the scene where they reenact The Holy Grail

Just finished a Confederacy do you really think it’s reddit tier? I thought it was amazing, really bleak in some ways but also hilarious in most others.

none because that website is trash. even aside the community which are all a bunch of dipshits, the fucking layout of the site is such a mess. you get a million subreddts for every small question and you get like one or two replies and its there forever. at least here the threads either thrive and survive or die

Was going to say the same. Also Little Brother by Cory Doctorow was SHIT. Wool was ok but very derivative and written in the style of a first draft.

reddit r/literature is actually much better than here. /lit/s increasingly flooded by low IQ, immature shitheads. this fact is intractable.
