Obviously neither. Caring is cringe. Doing it for any other purpose than reading is cringe. Concerning yourself too much with how people perceive you, or how others should be perceived is cringe.

Most activities, mannerisms, and behaviors that 4chan people consider cringe are only cringe if you're unattractive, as a general rule. There's no trait that can't be twisted into being attractive, or at least endearing when you're physically attractive.
