Imajica currently. Trying to get myself to read every day. This is my first Clive Barker work I've read so I don't know if it's a good place to start, but I've been loving it so far.

After the struggle of the first section, which for me at points was almost incomprehensible, nearing 400 pages in I'm finding that I'm following it a lot more than I was. Of course, there are still points which go over my head, but that's Pynchon.

Regarding this edition (pictured) which I know is /lit/'s least favoured of the bunch, I've found the text very clear and no printing issues at all thus far.

I'm finally reading through this.
It's quite good, because Hamilton is somewhat lyrical, focusing on narrative summary derived from the source texts. But that's also why it's a poor reference text.

Was big idiot and got the penguins classic edition with a translation by C. V Rheu.

Kinda awful translation but the jist of the book was good and teared up when Patroclus died. Only read parts of it in high school and am excited to read a better translation next year fagals or idk. Any suggestions for better translations?

Best American Stories 1986, edited by Raymond Carver. Not reading in order because the stories are alphebetized by author, but so far I've read "Gryphon" by Charles Baxter and "Health" by Joy Williams, both are really wonderful stories. Only part I enjoyed about 451 is the head honcho of the firemen shitting on minorities and blaming them for the future they were in. Pretty prophetic, if you ask me. I don't think Bradbury is very talented or smart, but he ended up writing one of the most relevant novels as of late.
