Not OP here but man i feel the same as OP the physical world feels unnatural and fake, while my mind and thoughts seem more real than reality itself; it's also one of the reasons why i love reading. I've been this way for as long as i can remember and it hasn't affected my life that much other than the fact that i love being alone and love reading, but i still have a job and a vibrant social life in comparison to some people on this board.

Depends what you mean by that. If you mean you love them and they’re your escape when you’re unhappy or bored, that’s great, it’s awesome you’ve found something you love/are passionate about.

If you mean you literally aren’t connecting to reality then you should probably see a therapist.
