The problem is that the new newfags are Dunning-Kruger geniuses who believe that they are blessing this board with their presence, and unironically believe that being called retarded is a definite sign that they're saying something intelligent. Could not agree more. Bloom is /lit/'s patron Saint (almost all of his books have /lit/charts in the appendices). I was away from here a while last year doing things I'm not proud of, and when I came back the sheer amount of vitriol and general angry shitposting really brought me back to reality. It was refreshing to see for a while, then I realized that very few people actually feel like having a proper conversation about anything at all, really. Might actually be interesting when a collapse or something actually major happens but really what are the chances?
