I think the problem leftoids run into with embarrassing books like this and especially wash your penis man is that they are attempting to answer spiritual crises that the left is incapable of answering. If you aren't satisfied with the narrative of progress and tolerance you learn in elementary-high school, that is, we are all happy now because the black people can vote and you are free to do whatever you want, you end up as a kind of leper.

That study that come out recently that showed that I think 92% of young Britons agreed "that their life had no meaning" was pretty disturbing to me. The leftoid response to this can't really be anything other than Pinkertonian materalist progressivism or "when the gays are in your kid's library you will be happy".

Basically the left is circumscribed against being able to create the kind of positive, contextualizing myths that people (white people that is, minorities and their allies have a liberation myth to attach themselves to) are craving and so their moral hegemony is in decline. I just hope that a real shaman rises up to replace Peterson and Trump Jr./Coulter/Southern in this
