Gyorgy Lukacs' The Destruction of Reason
Horkheimer and Adorno's Dialectics of Enlightenment
Foucault's Punishment and Discipline

These and some secondary-literature, you'll probably not touch even one of these books so just read essays on these philosophers and on these books. I can recommend a few Jürgen Habermas essays on why some post-modern philosophers abandoned "reason" and why some of these philosophers used to be marxists.

If you're referencing low-IQ sociology professors who are amalgamating Marxism with post-modern thought into their feel-good ideology of the decade then there's nothing to read as these people don't read coherently.

From my brief glance this is a book that tries to methodologically explain personality traits associated with fascism. If want to read something written by Jewish authors trying to come to terms with what led to their fate 1933 - 1945 with every idea under the sun other than what is actually obvious and true, then read this book. Correct me if I am wrong, please. I've not actually read the book but I just may for amusement.

Lukacs' book argues German irrationalism was the source of the Nazi's though. Pomo's own irrationalism more draws from the opposite impression, that the Germans were the pinnacle of European civilization and Enlightened Reason and still perpetrated the worst crime in history.

There's no such thing, however, there IS a broad neoliberal consensus that incorporates conflicting ideals into itself in order to maintain global hegemony. It's not the left, but its not the right either, its the most beige centrist you could possibly imagine (likely beige because interracial coupling is seen as the highest honour). He's spoken on it before - though I don't remember where - and understands it's paradoxical in nature; it's simply a useful term to him (it would seem) for categorization. I'm putting it simply of course, but to him a "postmodern marxist" is basically someone who agrees with core elements of marxism but also has postmodern beliefs (regarding science and whatnot).
