He is described as having fair skin and deep blue eyes with dark hair, so he likely looked like a brunette white guy. Keep in mind that the Indo-Aryans were an Indo-European people who conquered the local swarthy Dravidians, and at 500 BC there had been far less intermixture between the two (which is what the caste system was established to prevent in the first place), so as a noble Siddhartha Gautama was likely of close to pure Indo-Aryan extraction.
