I only took one English class in college and it sucked.

The professor has since retired and self-publishes an alarming number of terrible books on Amazon.

I would expect this kind of behavior from a professor at a shitty regional college, but this guy taught at a nationally ranked liberal arts college.

I'm a professor, but not an English professor. I started browsing here in 2011 back when "Quentin" was around and "tripfags" in general were a major feature of the board. The board was wittier then, and there was less right wing bleed-over from the other boards. I still check in from time to time, though. Actual adults probably shouldn't be here.

he's full of shit. unless he stuck to less populated boards like /lit/ or /ck/ or /o/ or whatever, the major boards were basically always racist and sexist. for the most part it was humorous, but you could kind of tell that /pol/ made it serious. Kind of dumb of him to even really talk about browsing 4chan in person. When /b/ was in its prime, the board was known publicly for cee pee and bullying kids to commit suicide.
