Is there even a point in pursuing anything to do with philosophy or history anything else if I am terrible at STEM? I feel like only people who are good at STEM shit deserve to do anything intellectual or else you're just a pseudo intellectual

nah, this is a pretty pseud mindset desu. you may find yourself gaining an interest for stem things as you read philosophy.

I've been studying for a couple of years now and every time I come across math in anything I either just skip it or give up because it makes me feel stupid and gives me anxiety which in turn makes me feel like I'm just a fucking pseud charlatan. I hate it and wish I could do better but I can't

I'm sorry for being so retarded and making an even bigger joke out of academia than it already is

If you don’t see the point then don’t pursue it. No one is making you do anything, anon.

Have you ever talked to a stem student?

Exact opposite, OP. If you can't hack it in STEM, stick to the humanities. At least, if you have some STEM experience you can be aware of how it affects people. STEMlords don't care about philosophy or any of that bullshit in general. Look at how many inventions by STEMlords are now running lose. They don't bother asking questions about how said invention alters people until the effects are felt, but by that time, it's far too late.

I feel like it's a cope to be like "Well I can't quantify any of my ideas at all but it's okay because bad things have been done with STEMlord inventions"

Is this serious? And what is up with people not posting threads about books?

This post is nonsensical. Is there any point to learning carpentry if you don’t know anything about plumbing? That’s about how much I feel these things are related.

It's like trying to learn a foreign language but only getting the accent right then saying you're fluent in it

Most STEM students are barely literate and equipped with a rotten intellect from doing nothing but consuming porn, video games, weed and alcohol while monkeying around in their over-specialised subject at uni. I'm speaking from experience. The pure science and math students may not be nearly as bad but most engineers are barely even human.

You should still work on acquiring some basic mathematical intuition, it's the purest form of human thought.
