just watched the matrix and now i feel like reading some cyberpunk book. any good recommandations that are like the matrix movie? virtual reality, questioning whats being human, the typical humans, robots, stuff.

im not exactly into a book about people floating trought the internet...

I don't know if I'd really call the matrix classic cyberpunk to be honest. It has some of the motifs... but where most "cyberpunk" simply rehashes the evil corporations, street thugs, and body snatchers over and over again, the matrix wasn't about that at all. I mean, the back-story bears more resemblance to the terminator than Neuromancer.

I think I'd settle for the vague term of "post-cyberpunk" at best
