It is known that Mishima enjoyed Nietzsche, Bataille, Wilde and Dostoevsky. Which other western writers did he like?

How do these people not intuitively understand the overall ideas an author is conveying through individual literary brushstrokes of anecdote, reflection and reference? Are they hylics? Do they look at paintings and see ten thousand ugly smears?

Mainlander was wrong, you're not there to experience the eternal bliss of nothingness, geniuses, so from your perspective (or any perspective, be it man, beast, mineral, or conceptual) it doesn't even happen, death isn't a black hole your consciousness dissolves into, it's a brick wall, the beginning and the end of your life a set of bookends you run between over the course of an eternity

Mishima was a /lit/ nerd who took up strength training because his boyfriend made fun of him while they were at a gay nightclub. Then he wrote a book, Sun and Steel and talks about how great it is to be lifting weights. I think that's what it is. I got a laugh when I watched a short clip from a Mishima biography program where he agreed to get married to a woman to please his parents, as long as she had not interest in his works and be shorter then him, since Mishima was short.
