fa/tg/uy here. I'm looking for stories involving what /tg/ calls Humanity Fuck Yeah. For those of you who don't know what that means, it is mostly sci-fi stories in which humans fight a seemingly invincible foe and either come out on top or put up such a fight that the foe is left in awe. In these stories humans are able to do this because they are either crazy or just too stubborn.

Does anyone know of something along those lines?

I have actually have kind of a similar request. Are there any books where humans are basically just intergalactic douchebags?? Like they go around killing and/or enslaving even the most peaceful aliens and stuff. I think it would be more realistic imo

One of the StarCraft novels I read was pretty badass, the ending made me cry.

I forget what its called but its got the Marine's face on the cover, destiny something?

I know this is NOT /co/ but 'Humanity fuck yeah' reminds me clearly of:

Warhammer 40K
Ultimate Galactus trilogy.

Try them.

As for books, good sci-fi are generally pessimistic, great sci-fi normally don't consider Aliens a threat (Aliens don't exist).

Gurren Lagann?

Shit I have a perfect story for you and I don't remember the title. It's about intergalactic aliens that come to an earth about to be consumed by the sun in order to save the indigenous species. Turns out the indigenous species does not really need saving.

I'm going to go nuts trying to remember the title now. I think it was a PKDick story.

I have the impression you're looking for more of a grimdark humanity fuck yeah novel/series, but if you're willing to read something a little lighter, then the High Crusade is a delightful book. 14th century Englishmen fight against aliens both on Earth and in space.
