The thesis of the bicameral mind is unproven. It's interesting but i wouldn't base my worldview onit.

It was just the first nonfic I ever read. It changed my world by setting me off my curiosity and sending me on my reading journey. It was a pretty good place to start it all off with all the protohistory.

Call me cringe if you want, but the first published "red pill" work I ever read was Way of Men by that faggot Jack Donovan. I remember reading it in 2014 while I was working at a movie theater, I lucked out and got a few weeks to sit in the box and sell tickets, which is easy as fuck since most of the day I don't do shit and I get to control the AC in the box, so I brought my kindle and just read all day, rarely interrupted by people buying movie tickets. I choose that book because it got me to really start thinking about my own development as a man and about what values I hold or even thought about. I was already primed for it probably from browsing /pol/ (it was a different time back in 2012-2014). It might have been the first thing published work I read that ran in any way contrary to the overall narrative promoted by academia and the press. I have since moved on to more advanced and nuanced subjects, but I'd say it's worth at least a skim even if you disagree with it.

I remember when I first read all through KS. Good times. Not exactly high literature but it was very emotional. I spent a few months posting on /ksg/ too. I even wrote and recorded a few Misfits parodies based on KS memes.
